Fusion Pro
Heat-resistant nylon with a shorter pile profile for high-traffic applications — same Low-E heat resistance as Fusion Elite, in a more durable wear profile.

3" of 3/4"-and-smaller angular stone
Angular-stone foundation provides drainage and a stable base under the turf. Sized and graded to KC's clay-heavy soil profile.
- 02Leveling
3/8"-minus angular stone leveling layer
Smaller-grade leveling course on top of the base — produces the flat, true surface the turf needs to lay properly.
- 03Backing
Three-layer foundation arrives in the turf
Polyurethane scrape coat + frothed urethane padding + 100% post-consumer recycled-bottle geotextile (Project Yellowstone). Engineered together to drain instantly and resist mold.
- 04Seaming
Micromechanical seam tape
ForeverLawn's proprietary micromechanical seaming system — no glue, no flapping seams. Holds at full strength on residential lawns, rooftops, and roof decks.
- 05Anchoring
1" galvanized staples · 1/4" crown · every 3"
Staple specification holds the turf flat to the base over years of seasonal cycles. Galvanized to resist corrosion in KC weather.

Crumb rubber, Envirofill, or non-infill
Three infill options. Crumb rubber recommended for most applications. Envirofill-coated sand as an alternative. Non-infill for specific applications.

What is the difference between LandScapes Select and Fusion series?
Select Series uses polyethylene yarn and is engineered for moderate-to-high-traffic residential and commercial landscape applications. Variants: VR (long & lush bright), LX (long & lush green/olive), HD (fresh-cut bright, high-traffic), EL (fresh-cut green/olive, dense construction).
Fusion Series is all-nylon construction engineered to withstand reflective heat — Fusion Elite handles Low-E window heat that can drive surface temperatures up to 206°F; Fusion Pro is heat-resistant with a shorter pile for high-traffic.
What is Mow Lines and how is it different?
Mow Lines™ is a specialty LandScapes product that features realistic mowing patterns built directly into the turf. The result is a backyard or commercial landscape that looks freshly mowed year-round — without ever needing to mow.
Will the lawn drain on Kansas City clay soil?
Yes. ForeverLawn's three-layer backing system is engineered for instantaneous drainage. The install spec for KC clay sites includes:
· 3" base of 3/4"-and-smaller angular stone
· 3/8"-minus angular stone leveling layer
· 1" galvanized staples (1/4" crown, every 3")
· Choice of crumb rubber, Envirofill-coated sand, or non-infill installation

Can LandScapes be paired with K9Grass for pet zones?
Yes. Pet-friendly LandScapes options are available, and the system can be combined with dedicated K9Grass® zones for properties that need both a premium landscape lawn and a purpose-built dog area. ForeverLawn Kansas City designs combined installations for residential and multi-family properties.
How long does a residential LandScapes install take in the Kansas City metro?
Most KC residential LandScapes installs are on the order of a few days on site, with 2–3 weeks from first call to crew arrival for typical projects (faster for urgent timelines). The fastest path: call (913) 586-5340, we do a site visit within a week, quote and contract within a few days, then install. Site complexity (slope, drainage history, gate access, hardscape coordination) extends the schedule on some lots. Commercial projects run longer because of bid cycles.
